With official approval and the title being set in stone, I am now fully committed to drafting a new, original work for the 2020 QuarryWorks Theater Season... a direct-sequel to the flopped musical comedy BAKER STREET. The sequel, to be co-written in some capacity with my associate G. RICHARD AMES, is entitled "BEYOND BAKER STREET: THE SEARCH FOR SHERLOCK" and picks up right where BAKER STREET ends.
It's only July but I know if I don't get a head start on it now then it'll be crunch time come January, as it happened with DRESS REHEARSAL FOR MURDER. But seeing how I'm planning this to be a full-fledged musical sequel, extra time is not a luxury I will have much of if I have any hopes of getting this show off the ground in time.
So this is the beginning. The start of the process, the start of the blog, and the start of a brand new adventure for Sherlock Holmes and crew!
